How can a Mental Skills Coach help me?
Where do we meet?
The MSC is flexible. If you are in Las Vegas, the MSC will meet you at the site of your sport, business, etc. We will find a safe, private area to meet to make sure our conversations stay confidential. Other arrangements can be made in advance, for example a private office. If you are outside of the Las Vegas area, Skype sessions are available.
What is the process like?
Mental skills training is a collaborative, ongoing process that falls into three steps:
1) The first step is assessment where the MSC gets to know you as a person. You are the expert on yourself: your experiences, your strengths, your challenges and your goals.
2) The second step is to create a personalized action plan to get you to your peak performance, where you want to be.
3) Third step is to implement the action plan. This involves practicing and applying the performance enhancement techniques to daily life as well as performance. This part will take work, as learning and implementing mental skills can be just as demanding as learning physical skills. Just as doing one push up will not make you stronger neither will running through a new performance enhancement skill once, it takes practice! The MSC provides personalized tools and techniques to help you get to your goals.
